thank you for joining our weekly Vlog today is Tuesday February 20th 2024 and I hope you had a great present Presidents Day Holiday you have another week to complete the school quality survey what is open for the rest of February and if you would like your child to be eligible for a class party be sure to turn in the yellow attestation form that indicates that you have turned in either the paper copy or you've completed online survey again this will help your child qualify for a class party and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out either to your teacher or call the office so I can leave tomorrow we are having a parent coffee hour from 8:30 to 9:30 the cafeteria read to me International will be there and we'll be passing out books for you so you can have to reach her children at home I also will be reviewing a strategy that teachers have been implementing in their classrooms and our counselors will address of attendance tips and strategies for all of our families and we do things all the time. Did RSVP but if you are still interested in attending please report to the cafeteria by 8:15 to sign in will start promptly at 8:30 for school drop-off please be sure to make sure your child once they come to school they get onto campus are they coming straight to Compass or go straight to the cafeteria we've been finding a few of our children playing on the basketball court which is not super vised before school and we want to keep your child's say so make sure that they come onto campus when they arrive morning as well as for after school we highly encourage you to pick up your child promptly at 2:15 please don't allow them to go out to the park or the rounds about under the Big Tree near the gravel parking lot to wait for you you picked up again those areas are not supervised we do have supervision on campus and we want to keep them safe so please help us out in the situation the following are important dates to remember Friday March what is the last day of third quarters we have about three and a half more weeks of school spring break is from March 18th to the 22nd after spring break students will return on Monday March 25th 26 is Kuhio day so it's a holiday students will come back for Wednesday and Thursday which is the 27th and 28th and then it's on Friday the 29th is Good Friday so it will be ours always if you have any questions please hesitate to reach out to your classroom teacher or contact the office for assistance with that we thank you for all you do for cooler stools
