Aloha Parents and Guardians of Kauluwela School.
Happy Holidays! I hope you have been enjoying your break.
Beginning Tuesday, January 5th, Blended Learning students (Google Classroom and/or face-to-face) and Acellus Distance Learning students will continue with their 2nd quarter learning schedules/program for the 3rd quarter.
Information for Parents Who Requested their Acellus Child Return to School for Blended Learning
Acellus students whose parents have requested that their child return to school for Blended Learning (Google Classroom and/or face-to-face) should have been or will be contacted by their classroom teacher with specific instructions on when to return to school. Acellus students will continue on their Acellus Distance Learning Program from Tuesday, January 5, 2021 until Friday, January 22, 2021 unless informed otherwise by their classroom teacher. Grade level classroom teachers will be providing in-school Google Classroom tutorial sessions with their Acellus child during these three weeks. We want to use this period to provide a smooth and successful transition back to school for our Acellus students. Again, this is only for Acellus students whose parents requested their Acellus child to return to school for Blended Learning (Google Classroom and/or face-to-face).
Starting on Monday, January 25, 2021, returning Acellus students will begin their Blended Learning schedule (Google Classroom and/or face-to-face instruction) and be removed from the Acellus Distance Learning program.
Our Grab and Go meal program will also begin on Tuesday, January 5th from 11:30am - 12:30pm in front of our cafeteria.
For families who have recently returned to Hawaii from a trip, please be sure to follow the State’s guidelines in regards to the 10-day quarantine and COVID-19 testing. In addition, if your child is feeling sick or may have COVID-19-like symptoms, please remain at home and follow the Return to School Criteria posted on our school’s website.
Stay safe and have a Happy 2021 New Year!
