hello hello hello Hannah thank you for joining our weekly Vlog today is Monday January 22nd 2024 first off we have our second quarter Awards assembly this Wednesday January 24th grade three four and five will be from 12:30 to 12:50 and grades K through two will be from 1 to 1:20 I apologize I believe vpfree2 Shmurda said it started at 1:00. If you're coming just for your child that might be in he threw two if you're coming for any of your children that are in Greece 345 be sure to be here at 12:30 will have access from gate a Which is closest to the office and then we ask you to go on the side of the freeway doors to end the cafeteria here on campus we are closer to completion however we still do not have a completion date are covered walk for both are walkway in the front and our cover play area behind disbudding however they are actively being worked on with this said I just want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time and hopefully we will have access to do the walkway and her play area soon next I ask that you actively engage with your child and ask about different content that they're learning here at school also carve out some time to read with your child as this will really help increase their success in school we're getting closer to our state testing which is for grades to be four and five and that's in April and are really our teachers are doing due diligence in teaching content standards that will be addressed in the testing I continue to ask you also for your assistance by preparing your child and getting I'm making sure that they're getting a good night's rest there being well-fed getting to school early enough so that they can have breakfast here at school and just instill proper habits for everything in their life like checking their planners make sure they complete their homework and then. talkin to read for 20 minutes a day next the following are just important Visa I've been talking about so first off Monday February 12th is a teacher Institute day there will be no school for students following Monday which is February 19th is President's Day and it's a school holiday and then Friday March 18th is our last day of the third quarter spring break will start from March 18th I'm sorry the law day of the third quarter is March 15th Q's me spring break starts on March 18th and it ends on the 22nd and then on Monday we return to school which is March 25th then Tuesday the 26th is Prince Kuhio day it's a school holiday return to school that Wednesday and Thursday the 27th and 28th and then Friday March 29th is Good Friday which is a holiday put lots of dates to remember we want to give it to you early in advance so you can mark your calendars but as always if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to your classroom teacher or contact the office first to sense I'm just with thank you for all that you for cooler weather and we hope that you have a great rest of your week mahalo
