hello hello hello hello welcome to our weekly Vlog today is August 14th 2023 first off I just wanted to address some of our departing teachers that have left us miss wittek and gray to miss Giuliano and gray for mr. Fang in greedfall Miss proper technology specialist teacher Miss Lee or our 3 through 5 concert and mr. baleela rk2 to counselor with that said we have some new faces on campus first of all mr. Freitas he is our new vice principal here miss trying is in kindergarten 83 Ms Hayashi is in kindergarten Andy to miss latora is in first grade s102 we also have missed school in second grade III mr. Posada in fifth grade as tool for Miss who who is our Great Skate 2 and 4 cancer and M Ponyo who is our grades 13 and 5 counselor we also have some of them are non classroom teachers so miss hit is our data Coastal srti coordinator Mr Jima is our interventions pistachio coordinator and Muskego is our student services coordinator I did want to talk about a few things that have been coming up after our first week of school and the first one is about pedestrian safety suggestions for you to talk to with your child is make sure that their eyes are up and their phones are down when they're crossing the street so you teach him to look left right and left again before Crossing making sure they're always walking on sidewalks ensuring that they wear bright color clothes or reflective gear after walking make sure that they make eye contact with drivers before crossing the sheet and of course we do not want them to run or Dart into the we are cross between parked cars please our main goal is to arrive alive I don't know if you've noticed in our first week was also have a new morning routine so at 7:55 you'll hear the bear bell ring we ask to have your child stand up software doorstop where there are at face the flag which is for the office or if they're in the top some toward the flag in the car have them put their right hand over their heart sing the words if they know the National Anthem words and then at the end of The Anthem they're going to wait for directions from their teacher for now we're just starting off with the national anthem or go see when she finished with Hawaiian Punch I will let you know when we decide to move forward with that routine I'm going to stop this presentation and then there's a few things that I also want to address first of all it's a gravel parking lot so if you noticed maybe last week Friday we're not allowing parents to come and use the gravel parking lot as a place to drop off so park drop off your child and then move your car Fortune we're having some difficulties with the walkway the front walkway that is being constructed constructed scuse me until they start construction again allow for you to access. gravel parking lot I also want to address the use of what gates to use so right now the gates that you can use our gates F which is right next to the tetherball area J which is right next to the basketball area and gate K which is right next to her volleyball area a few parents have been using other Gates that are intended for other staff to allow our students to have access to the front office please do not use those dates unless it was you were allowed to we do have a few days to remember so this week is our first week of specials so what grade 14 and three will always have specials on Mondays and Thursdays and K5 and two will always have specials on Tuesdays and Fridays be sure to get that into your regular routine so that your child is wearing shoes for either PE Performing Arts the other important dates to break down is this Friday August 18th is a school holiday it is admissions day and we are planning to have our picture taking next week Wednesday which is August 23rd once we have more information or the forms to send out we will get that to you as soon as possible as always if you have any questions please reach out to your classroom teacher make sure to check our website or classroom dojo if you don't have the link to the house and do joke please get out from your teacher and be sure to turn in all forms that have gone home and I'm your child's folder as soon as possible it allows us to function smoothly and every that we do if not please always reach out to either your comforter or the office so we can help you and guide you for a successful school year again we want to thank you for all you do for school and here's to a short week aloha
