Reoccurring Program

Every Wednesday at 10am - Keiki Storytime
These weekly story times for preschool age children will feature themed stories, rhymes, songs, and a simple craft. The story times are recommended for children ages 3 to 5.  All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.


October Programs  

October 7th at 2:30pm - {Extra}Ordinary Puppet Show
The University of Hawai’i at Manoa’s Theatre + Dance Department presents {Extra}Ordinary a puppet adventure about ordinary emotions. This interactive puppet show was specifically created for kids ages 4-6 and their grown-ups, and aims to help us talk about the ordinary emotions we all experience. All children must be accompanied by an adult at this program.

October 10th at 10am - Upcycling and Candy Basket Making
Turn trash to art by using recycled materials to design your own basket that you can use to collect candy on Halloween. Materials to design and decorate your baskets will be provided, but you have to fill your baskets with candy yourself. This program is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

October 24th at 3pm - Under the Blue | A Honolulu Theatre for Youth Production
Who dwells beneath the surface of the sea? What adventures abound far below the waves? Join us as we investigate the various layers of the ocean and explore our aquatic wonderland through music, puppetry, and a lot of imagination! “Under the Blue” will feature topics about the environment, science, ocean life, and visual art. Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Under the Blue actors. This free 40‐minute performance is suitable for ages 3 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Sponsored generously by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i.
